A place to hang out with your people
Chat, voice and video with the people you actually talk to. Every feature is free, and your DMs stay private.
Sign-ups need a beta tester code while we're in closed beta.
Every group gets its own home
Start a server for your friends, your class or your whole community. Split conversations into channels, pin what matters, react with custom emoji and keep every plan in one spot.
Drop into voice, no ringing required
Voice channels stay open, so you can see who's around and drop in for a minute or the whole night. Leave whenever you want. Nobody has to ring anyone.
Share your screen in full HD
Share your screen in crisp 1080p at 60 frames per second for game nights, watch parties or helping someone fix their settings. Pick your quality and everyone sees it right away.
Your DMs stay between you
Direct messages and group DMs are end-to-end encrypted. Your browser locks them before they leave your device, so the server only ever holds scrambled text it can't read.
Everything is free. Really.
No subscriptions, no boosts and no ads. Every account gets every feature from the day it's created.
HD streaming
Share your screen at up to 1080p and 60 fps with the people in your call.
Big uploads
Send files up to 500 MB, so clips and photos go through at full quality.
Custom emoji
Use any server's emoji anywhere, animated ones included.
Every cosmetic
Avatar decorations, profile effects and nameplates are already yours.
Questions, answered
What is Infernite?
Infernite is a place to chat with your friends and communities, with servers, channels, direct messages, voice, video and screen sharing, all in your browser.
How do I join?
Infernite is in closed beta. If you've been given a beta tester code, open the register page, fill in your details, confirm your email with the code we send you and type your beta tester code into its box. Without a beta code you can't finish signing up.
Does anything cost money?
No. Every account gets every feature, and there's nothing to buy and no ads.
Who can read my messages?
Direct messages and group DMs are end-to-end encrypted. Your browser encrypts them before they leave your device, so the server only stores ciphertext it can't read. Messages in server channels aren't end-to-end encrypted, and the people who run Infernite can access them to keep the service safe.
Is there a desktop or mobile app?
Infernite runs in any recent desktop or mobile browser, so there's nothing to install. Bookmark it or add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
What should I do if something breaks?
Check the status page first. If everything looks fine there, tell us what happened, with what you were doing and what you expected to see.
What are the rules?
Read the terms of service, the privacy policy and the community guidelines before you join. They apply to every account.
