The rules of the road

Terms of Service

What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you when you use Infernite.

Last updated October 11, 2026
Infernite is in closed beta. Things will break, change or disappear while we build it, so please don't rely on it for anything you can't afford to lose.

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and the people who run Infernite ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Infernite, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Who can use Infernite

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it. If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

You can't use Infernite if we've previously banned you, or if the law prevents you from using services like ours.

3. The closed beta

During the beta, signing up requires a beta tester code. Codes are personal invitations to help test, so please don't post them publicly. We may end the beta, reset data, limit features or close beta accounts at any time.

Features you see during the beta may never ship, and the ones that do may work differently. Feedback you send us can be used to improve Infernite without any obligation to you.

4. Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
  • Tell us right away if you think someone else got into your account.
  • Accounts are personal. Don't sell, trade or share them.

5. Your content

You own the messages, images, files and other things you post. To run the service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, display and deliver your content to the people you share it with. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others already have a copy or we must keep it by law.

You're responsible for what you post and promise you have the rights to share it.

6. Acceptable use

Follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, don't:

  • break the law or help someone else break it;
  • harass, threaten or exploit anyone, especially minors;
  • send spam, malware or phishing;
  • try to get into accounts, systems or data that aren't yours;
  • overload, scrape or disrupt the service, or get around its limits;
  • pretend to be someone you're not, including us.

7. Moderation and enforcement

We can remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, or that put others or the service at risk. Where it's safe and practical, we'll tell you what happened and why.

8. Changes to the service

Infernite is free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the service. If we shut down, we'll try to give reasonable notice first.

9. Disclaimers

Infernite is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, or that your content won't be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Infernite. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using Infernite and delete your account at any time from your account settings. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive, like ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability, continue after your account ends.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know before it takes effect. Continuing to use Infernite after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms can go to the people who run Infernite.
